This property in New Hartford, CT has been a working farm since the
early 1800s. While the main farm is still intact and visible in the
video, the back acres had been left alone long enough for nature to
completely take over. Dense vines and multiflora rose had turned the
edges of this historic property into an impenetrable tangle — and on
a grey, rainy day we headed in to start taking it back.
Day 1 of 2 — roughly half an acre cleared, with more to come.
No hauling. No burning. No mess left behind — just mulch.
