Delivery of Ex. GWR HST Powercar No. 43091 | Plym Valley Railway | 26|11|2024

No. 43091 will only be on site for a matter of days prior to further onward road movement. The Plym Valley Railway has announced that Ex-GWR HST Powercar, No. 43063, has entered preservation with them after being withdrawn from service. In this video we see the arrival of this Class 43 powercar No. 43091 after traveling the short distance from Plymouth Laira Depot. Power car 43063 is understood to be destined for preservation, whilst sister 43161 has been provided as a source of spare parts, and will be broken up on site at Plym Valley over winter. Neither power car has a power unit fitted.
