There are some VERY questionable Academy decisions. And then there are the categories where Daddy simply has to follow his heart. Ordinary People won Best Picture. Robert Redford won Best Director. Robert De Niro won Best Actor for Raging Bull. Sissy Spacek won Best Actress for Coal Miner’s Daughter. Timothy Hutton won Supporting Actor for Ordinary People. And Mary Steenburgen won Supporting Actress for Melvin and Howard. But what would I vote for? You’ll have to watch and find out!
