FOUR CORNERS FLOOD EMERGENCY NOT OVER! Warnings in 3 STATES, MORE RAIN Ahead (Latest Updates) A week after a slow storm sent rivers through towns across the Four Corners, the National Weather Service still had emergency flood warnings in force on Monday in New Mexico and along the line between Montezuma County, Colorado, and San Juan County, Utah, with flood warnings in Colorado's Alamosa County, northern Arizona and southern Utah. San Juan County, New Mexico, warned on Saturday that the rivers are expected to rise again, and the Climate Prediction Center sees a risk of heavy rain over the region from October 31 to November 2. In this video, we look at the emergency flood warnings still in force in three states, the rain that soaked the ground, the San Juan River from Pagosa Springs to Farmington and Shiprock, the Animas River at Durango, the Utah city buried in mud, the Arizona warnings and helicopter rescue, the closed passes and railroad, what an emergency warning means, the heavy rain risk forecast for the weekend, and how to stay safe near floodwater.
