CLAP FOR FREEDOM!!👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 Season 12 Episode 6 saw us welcome home East Side’s Finest Sluey to share his RTM story; having only been out of prison for 8 days after serving 7 years this time. Sluey is a character so just know that this episode will be mad!😅 Chronik was sick and unfortunately couldn’t make it for the Newham settings, so we drew for the one and only Doe Maker “Pinky Notes” to guest co-host. With him and Sluey both being Congolese and already friends, it was a great call. We also had some lovely aesthetics in “Sherine Green UK”,but she had to leave for an appointment before the pics were taken. Sluey talked us through his life story so far including family life; growing up in a Congolese household; being kicked out of primary and secondary school; in and out of prison since secure unit at 14 years old; losing his little brother (RIP🕊️), which ultimately led him to his most recent bird; his relationship with Potter Payper and how 36 the label started and much more. We then put him through his ‘RTM Fire Round’ before getting into some ‘Current Affairs’. We had a break for ‘RTM Banter’ at some point and the main subject was “Prisoners”. The ‘RTM Dilemma’ and ‘Book Suggestion’ closed the show as usual, along with some RIP’s & 3’s. We added a new section where we scroll through some of the previous show’s comments and reply back to a few of them.
