Ride the Ocean View Metrolink with Me | Irvine to Oceanside Day Trip + Spa, Coffee & Beach Looking for an easy Southern California day trip? Come ride the Metrolink with me from Irvine to Oceanside! One of my favorite parts of the journey is watching the ocean roll by along the coast. It’s such a relaxing ride, and I honestly prefer it over driving. Getting there couldn’t be easier. Simply purchase your Metrolink ticket at the station, hop on, and enjoy the scenic coastal views while someone else does the driving. Once you arrive in Oceanside, so much is within walking distance. I always stop at Banana Dang Coffee for a smoothie or pastry before exploring downtown and the beach. This trip, I treated myself to a relaxing spa day at Sunny’s Spa at The Seabird Resort - the perfect way to slow down and recharge. Oceanside is one of my favorite beach towns in Southern California, with beautiful beaches, cute boutiques, amazing restaurants, cozy coffee shops, and a laid-back coastal vibe. Whether you’re planning a solo day trip, a girls’ getaway, or a fun date, it’s an easy escape that’s well worth the ride.
