There Was Only One Bed | Rain on the Inn Window & a Low Fire | Romantasy Reading & Sleep Ambience

An attic room at an inn in the fae city at night: one bed with the covers turned down, a cloak over the chair and another on the hook, boots by the door, a fire banked low in the small stone hearth, rain on the leaded window and the city's lamps blurred beyond it. For sleep, reading or study. No mid-roll interruptions. What you'll hear: rain on the window glass, steady and close, a low fire under it, and nothing else. No music, no talking, no sudden sounds. The innkeeper says there's one room left. There is, as it happens, one bed. The fire's been lit for an hour, and two people's things are in the room. Loosely inspired by Velaris, the City of Starlight, and the Court of Dreams from the ACOTAR series. More rooms in Vesper Court:    • Vesper Court   How this was made: the base image was generated, then hand-finished in my own software. The fire, the ember glow on the hearthstones, the candle on the sill, the rain on the glass and the sound mix are built by hand for this scene, and every sound is synthesized or hand-mixed from licensed sources. Visuals are AI-generated and hand-edited.
