SUB CREATURES OF THE DIGITAL ABYSS is a series of experimental short films inspired by the strange alien lifeforms and organisms that drift through the pitch-black depths of the oceans. Each creature is created from experimental still images, fed through PowerPoint motion design and layered transitions, brought to life then given verbalization with an original, atmospheric score. What emerges is not animation in the traditional sense, but a hallucinated wildlife documentary, as if a camera lowered deep into an unexplored synthetic ocean. These digital organisms float, pulse and react inside an artificial abyss, mimicking the behaviour of true deep-sea creatures while inhabiting a world that exists only in signal and luminosity.
