Wave Goodbye (splatoon) RMX

splatoon as a franchise means a lot to me but I don't think I could put to words why, even if I wanted to. It's not a nostalgia thing; I'm not a day 1 fan, nor a year 1 fan, hell I'm not even a year 5 fan. I only just picked up the game for the first real time in july. I had played 2 a couple of times on my friend's switch but, other than that, I'm completely new to it. Even so, it means more than almost any other game I've ever played. so I made this. it's by no means perfect, or even necessarily an improvement over the source material, but I poured as much of my soul into this as I could. I was originally going to write lyrics that sort of reflect how I feel about the game, how it's changed my view of things, and still fit with the canon meaning of the lyrics. "everything starts the way it ends," and "when curtains fall the crowd recalls a song" were about as far as I got though. anyway, do the youtube stuff if you enjoyed it. or don't; I don't really care. eat soup
