Qabbeh: Palestinian Traditional Dress

Cultural heritage forms a deep and fundamental part of the history of a country. It is expressed in intangible social customs, traditions and rituals, and unique physical objects, monuments and places and of course, traditional costumes. In conflict, however, it is often one of the parts of a nation most quickly damaged, and hardest to repair. Palestinian heritage has been under constant threat since 1920. The Qabbeh is a distinctive feature of Palestinian traditional costumes. This is a short tribute to the beautiful art of Palestinian traditional costumes.
