Celebrating Native American Heritage Month - Staff Stories

Kylee Daulton is a Cultural Resource Facilitator (CRF) in the Native Education Program at Salem-Keizer Public Schools. She is a citizen of the Madesi Pit River Tribe and was a student at Salem-Keizer before she became a staff member in the Native Education Program. “I’m really passionate about my job because we didn’t have CRFs when I was in school, so our program has evolved a ton. I make sure to tell my students whatever they need to be successful, I’m here for them.”
