[DETOUR] CTA 2023 NovaBus LFS 8408 on Route 2 Hyde Park Express (9/17/2026)

I don't know whether to be surprised or concerned 🤔 Anyway, due to police activity on Lake Park from 49th to 51st yesterday, all northbound and southbound buses to were rerouted during rush hour. Here is the list of routes that were rerouted: #2 - Hyde Park Express (southbound rerouted via 48th from Lake Park, and Woodlawn, resumes on 51st, or via 47th, and Woodlawn, and resume on 51st) #6 - Jackson Park Express Northbound has been rerouted via 51st, Drexel, and continues on 47th until entering DuSable Lake Shore Drive. Southbound has been rerouted via 47th, Drexel, and continues on 51st (E Hyde Park) until turning on South Hyde Park Boulevard. #28 - Stony Island Northbound has been rerouted via 51st, Drexel, and continues on 47th until Lake Park terminal. Southbound has been rerouted via 47th, Drexel, and continues on 51st until Lake Park Avenue.
