Friends for the Journey | Tim Blaber | Proverbs 27

What's your greatest need right now? This week we look at one of the most overlooked themes in scripture: friendship. From Proverbs to the cross, we discover that God himself has always existed in friendship, and that Jesus came not just to save us, but to call us friends. We explore what the Bible says about true friendship (and why it's so different from how our culture defines it), look at the friendships of Moses, David and Jonathan, and discover how Jesus is the ultimate friend who laid down his life for us. 📖 Proverbs 27:5-10, 17 | Proverbs 17:17 | Proverbs 18:24 | Exodus 33 | 1 Samuel 18 | John 15:12-17 💛 Everyone is welcome at Hope Church Winchester.
