Cruise Ship Dock Erupts into Flames in Whittier, Alaska

The newly built cruise ship dock in Whittier, Alaska caught fire and is still burning as I am writing this. I first noticed the smoke next to the ship when I went to walk my dog this morning. It worsened in the hours after that and when I walked later in the afternoon the smoke from it had filled the valley over the Prince William Sound. The smoke smells terrible and toxic, and I highly recommend waiting a while if you are planning to go out on the water anywhere near Whittier until this fire is put out and the smoke clears.
