I Cease from My Own Works | Original Hymn with Lyrics

I Cease from My Own Works is an original hymn based on my sermon "The Rest is for Sale". At Sinai, Israel promised out of fear, "All that the Lord hath spoken we will do". Then came the golden calf and the pile of man-made traditions. The better covenant writes God's law on the heart instead, and the Sabbath becomes a rest in His finished work and His love, a rest that draws others in, until the day He returns. Words by Michael Cudmore, written with AI assistance. Music and vocals generated with YuE AI, and artwork generated with Stable Diffusion XL. This is an original hymn, not a recording of a real choir or singer. #hymn #ChristianMusic #SeventhdayAdventist
