Childhood Sweetheart. Glass Kone Ecodisc Gen 1 in Middleton

This beautiful Kone Ecodisc replaced a glass elevator that was original to Middleton Shopping Centre in the early 2000s. This Ecodisc is a first gen Ecodisc with Kone KSS 670 fixtures and also features white LED displays. This is the first glass elevator I filmed in 2007 when it was still pretty much brand new. 16 years later she is looking a little worn but is still going strong. Sadly this elevator sometimes gets vandalised so I won't be too surprised to see it get refitted with the KSS 140 call stations and car operating panel. Even though I no longer go to Middleton, this Ecodisc will always be in my heart. This video was recorded in 2019
