RB3: "Here I Go Again" Expert Bass FC (Disc)

I always appreciate that posting these dumb ass videos affords me the opportunity to talk about the songs and charts in a variety of ways. Commonly, I derive a lot of enjoyment from rambling about songs that grew on me over time, repeated exposure, or certain experiences within or beyond the game itself. With "Here I Go Again," I think this is a rare case of the opposite, because I think this might be the song from the RB3 disc that's grown off of me the most since I first played it. Back in the day, I really liked this song, but these days? Man, this just feels so corny. Also, the charts are pretty underwhelming to revisit. In response to what I was just talking about with "Bombtrack," though, I gotta admit that they at least did their best to salvage this bass chart with the heavy, thoughtful forcing. This chart is still rather uninteresting, but at least they tried. And I know we can't really be ranting over the same tired point regarding 2012 HMX's quality of chart output, but it's hard to overlook that this nothingburger bassline came less than two years prior and has so much more game-given character to it.
