[OAIM e-Learning Practice Tool] Play along Backing Tracks for Irish Jigs & Reels

Get used to playing with other musicians with our online library of backing tracks on www.OAIM.I You can choose one of the 200 Irish tunes currently on-site and select the speed at which you wish to play. Say for example you are taking some tin whistle lessons on OAIM and you have started to learn the tune Rattlin' Bog. Once you have it 'in your fingers' you can accelerate your learning by going to the Rattlin' Bog backing track on the OAIM Student Dashboard, slow the tune down to 50% and then play along and master it at this speed. Once you have it fluently at 50% then move on to 75% speed and master the tune there before finally moving on to play at full speed. You'll discover that it's a lot more fun playing along with others. With our Play-Along Backing tracks you're actually playing along with some of Ireland's top performers of Irish music, all from the comfort of your own home.
