Police reported that on March 17, 2026, officers responded to Landmark Cinemas on Consumers Drive after several males allegedly yelled that someone had a firearm. Investigators said the disturbance was intentionally created to generate reactions for social-media content. Two adults and a 17-year-old were charged with causing a disturbance and mischief. No injuries were reported, and the allegations had not been proven in court at the time of the release.
