Jenson Button drives his Viper GTS-R at Rolex Monterey Motorsport Reunion

When we created GTSR Heritage, little did we know that we would have one day a Formula One World Champion at the wheel of one of our cars. Jenson Button purchased from us earlier this year chassis C25, the former Paul Belmondo racing car, which he discovered at the qualifying session at the Monterey Historics. It took him only five laps to to warm it up and understand it, and three times to score an amazing 1:25, which placed him for sure first GT car and in the middle of the prototype cars. Jenson had an amazing race on Sunday, starting five overall, and he managed to to finish the car on on the second position. So it was a first podium, overall podium for him, and a first win in GT. It couldn't have couldn't have been a better weekend, and what you can see on the onboard camera is just supernatural. We never thought a GTSR could be driven that hard, and it's—there is no mystery on what makes a a World Champion, a Formula One World Champion, and you can clear see it in the in the video.
