My Customer Deliberately Covered His Ford in Mud… I Offered Him $30 to Leave!

I thought I was finally closing my car wash for the day… until one of my regular customers showed up with a Ford completely covered in mud. What made it even worse? He admitted he intentionally drove through the mud just to make the cleaning more difficult! I actually offered him a $30 so he could go somewhere else, but he insisted that only my shop could get his car properly clean. So I gave in and took on the challenge. After hours of pressure washing, foam cleaning, and detailed scrubbing, the truck was finally spotless. The customer was impressed—and immediately promised to come back and torture me again! Then came my second job: a Changan, one of China’s major automakers. The car was absolutely filthy inside, with floor mats and accumulated sand everywhere. We used a 1:20 pre-wash dilution and a 1:10 wash solution, followed by a full exterior detail and hand-applied wax. No tip this time, but the owner brought me a Starbucks coffee, so I guess that counts!
