Nicole never expected a working holiday farm job would lead to managing a large-scale potato operation. Now a Farm Manager at the South Australian Potato Company, she oversees everything from irrigation and crop nutrition to planting and harvest. Drawn to the variety of the work and the satisfaction of growing a crop from paddock to plate, Nicole's story shows how hands-on experience can grow into a rewarding career in horticulture.
