6. Wake Up

[Verse 1] Jairus came running with dust on his knees A little life slipping through his hands He begged for the mercy that only He sees "Come before it's too late" He led Jesus home through the trembling crowd Every step felt heavy as stone Hope walked in quiet, and sorrow got loud At the door where the fear had grown [Pre-Chorus] They said, "Don't bother Him now" But Jairus would not let go One word from the Lord And the whole room would know [Chorus] Little girl, rise Little girl, rise Mercy stood in the room And death stepped aside (step aside) Little girl, rise Little girl, rise When Jesus says, "Wake up" Nothing can hide [Verse 2] The mourners were crying like rain on the walls Hands full of grief and ash Jesus looked past all the noise in the hall And spoke to the stillness at last He took the child by the hand with care Like a father holding dawn And life came back through the darkened air Where the shadow thought it was strong [Pre-Chorus] They said, "It's over now" But Heaven had not bowed One word from the Lord And the dead came out [Chorus] Little girl, rise Little girl, rise Mercy stood in the room And death stepped aside (step aside) Little girl, rise Little girl, rise When Jesus says, "Wake up" Nothing can hide [Bridge] He is mercy at the bedside He is peace in the midnight He still reaches for the broken He still calls the lost by name What was closed can open What was gone can breathe again The hand that held that child Still carries us the same [Breakdown] [Handclaps] Little girl, rise Little girl, rise [Choir] Rise, rise Jesus, speak again [Final Chorus] Little girl, rise Little girl, rise Mercy stood in the room And death stepped aside (step aside) Little girl, rise Little girl, rise When Jesus says, "Wake up" Nothing can hide Little girl, rise Little girl, rise He touched the heart of dust And it came alive (came alive) #worshipmusic #trapworship #worshiprap #trapgospel2026 #gospelmusic
