we took the 2am phone call | The Night Shift

Some hours are better left unworked. When your boss calls in the middle of the night furious that the scheduled worker bailed, you are forced to cover the shift entirely alone. Outside, the rain hits the windows and the parking lot is completely empty. Inside, your only barrier between the dark and the sunrise is a very specific list of tasks. Sweep the aisles, clean the restroom, restock the cooler, and make sure everything is locked up tight. Step into the retro PSX style of The Night Shift, a short first-person psychological horror experience by Pseudostar where a simple job turns into an atmospheric descent into dread.
