The breathtaking view of Train over sea on the dangerous New Pamban Bridge of Rameswaram Island. The location is also a cyclone-prone high wind velocity zone. A 108 Years Old Pamban Bridge truly is a marvel of Engineering and innovation (which is going to get demolished soon 😢). I was lucky enough to explore and observe the beauty of India's first ever sea bridge a whole day from Sunrise to Sunset. Enjoy watching the DAY - 5 consist of 11-in-1 Diesel and Electric powered trains on New Pamban Bridge, Mandapam Camp and Rameswaram Outers with the only EMD based locomotive classes i.e., WDP 4B, WDP 4D and WDG 4D of only one Diesel Shed i.e., SR's PONMALAI [GOC] Diesel Loco Shed with the Passenger/Express trains, carefully crossing over the 2.3 Km long cantilever bridge at a restricted permanent speed of 50 kmph on New bridge and 110Kmph flat at Mandapam Camp outers towards Ucchipuli.
