Dates filmed: Saturday the 8th of November 2025 / Thursday the 5th of February 2026 Route: Lincoln to Grimsby Line Between Lincoln Central (LCN) and Market Rasen (MKR) Stations Crossing type: Manually Controlled Barrier crossing with CCTV (MCB-CCTV) Filming location: Smooting Lane / Fiskerton Road, Reepham (LN3 4EB) Remember the days when some of us would 'clickbait' an unusual set-up? We would have been all over this one! A peculiar-looking but great level crossing, here, first seen in my 2025 end of year compilation with the full video finally now live. This video also contains the final 2025 videos I have left to publish. It has a total of as many as seven sets of LED wigwags, and the seventh is located a very long way forward of the crossing, included due to constraints in that near-side of the crossing where what's likely the old station building is. A very interesting view of the crossing can be had from this side of the crossing, taken advantage of with a tripod aiding stability in the first video. Between the dates of filming, it seems as though the remaining older alarm was also replaced for seemingly no apparent reason whatsoever. Indeed, Lincolnshire, and particularly the Lincoln area, is prime country for pointless alarm replacements.
