BENT RODS, BIG BITES! UAE KAYAK FISHING VLOG

What a session! 🎣🔥 Bent rods, big bites, and plenty of action out on the water! The new season is off to a cracking start, with loads of grouper caught, including a couple of really good-sized fish, plus a couple of spotted trevally thrown into the mix. And the best part? Every fish was released to fight another day! 💪🐟 There's nothing quite like getting back out on the kayak at the start of a new fishing season, and this session certainly delivered! From the moment I started fishing, it was clear there were plenty of fish around. The grouper were hungry, the rods were bending, and the action kept coming! 🎣💥 Grouper are always a fantastic fish to target on the kayak. They hit hard, pull like crazy, and around the reef and structure, you never know when the next bite is going to turn into a proper battle. When a decent one grabs your lure, you'd better be ready! This session produced some brilliant grouper action, with a couple of good-sized fish putting a serious bend in the rod. It's always a great feeling to hook into a quality fish, work it safely away from the structure, and get it alongside the kayak. And it wasn't just grouper keeping things interesting! We also managed to catch a couple of spotted trevally, adding a little extra variety to an already brilliant session. You never quite know what might turn up next when you're fishing these waters! As always, all the fish were released, including the bigger grouper. Catching these fish is an incredible experience, but being able to return them safely to the water and give them the chance to grow bigger is just as important. 🙌🐟 The exact fishing location stays under wraps, as always! 😉 Finding productive spots takes time, research, reconnaissance drives, and plenty of hours on the water. Half the adventure is putting in the effort to find these places and work out what lives beneath the surface. For me, that's what makes kayak fishing so addictive. You're out there exploring, learning the ground, figuring out what the fish are feeding on, and never quite knowing what the next cast might bring. This was a fantastic session and a brilliant way to kick off the new fishing season.
