Sunnyside's Bike Lanes Get the "Robust Daylighting" Treatment with Ample Concrete Protection!

Over the last few months on my many rides thru Sunnyside I've been watching as NYC DOT has been upgrading at least a 1/2 dozen of the "mixing zones" at busy intersections with concrete on Skillman and 43rd Ave. It really makes a HUGE safety and comfort difference. I have been taking a few random shots here and there but last night went back to some older archives to attempt to show the before/after contrast! We need real hardened #robustdaylighting everywhere. It is good to see NYC DOT updating their 2018 designs to force cars into slower and more predictable turns.
