Sai Ketan Rao on Why TV Actors Deserve More Recognition | Suraag 2.0

In this candid conversation with MissMalini, Sai Ketan Rao talks about stepping into the shoes of Inspector Shaurya Shastri in Suraag 2.0 and the changing landscape of the entertainment industry. Sai gets honest about the growing influence of social media in casting, the potential of TV actors and why the line between a television actor, film actor and OTT actor doesn't feel as rigid anymore. He also talks about the sheer reach of television in India and why he believes TV still commands an audience far beyond what people often give it credit for. He looks back at his own journey too — from facing rejection in Telugu cinema to the unexpected impact of Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali, while also revealing why reality shows have never really been his thing despite turning them down in the past. From Suraag 2.0 and playing Inspector Shaurya Shastri to TV stardom, social media, casting and the industry's changing rules, Sai Ketan Rao gets refreshingly candid about where actors stand today.
