BERT BICEP (Netherlands) - UK Garage / House / Tech House | International EP. #86

Bert Bicep likes to keep the groove rolling. Joining us from Amsterdam, Netherlands, he brings a love of UK Garage shaped by years of exploring House and Tech House, with Hip-Hop also finding its place in his selections. Behind the decks, he lets tracks build naturally, keeping the movement continuous without constantly reaching for another big drop. His story began in his teenage bedroom, teaching himself to mix through intuition and practice. Discovering a Carl Cox set on YouTube gave him a push that stayed with him: inspired by that energy, he began practising almost every day and gradually found his own style. UK Garage became the sound he connected with most, giving him the happiness and energy he still looks for whenever he plays. For years, Bert has shared mixes from his living room on SoundCloud. The unexpected response to one of his earliest uploads encouraged him to keep going, and now he feels ready to take his music further. This episode brings that dedication to a wider audience, carrying the same enthusiasm that kept him mixing at home long before anyone was listening. His message to the people: "Never let anyone stop you from doing what you want. Live your life with music, positivity, and pure love." From his living room to wherever you’re listening, Bert Bicep keeps the garage swinging and the groove moving. —— Bert Bicep Instagram —   / bertbicep   —— ABOUT DECKS&STORIES We are a small music platform from Kaunas, Lithuania, sharing DJ mixes and the human stories behind them from around the world — one mix at a time, one country at a time.
