MIT Student vs. UFC Fighter in a Robot Fight

What happens when an MIT student and a professional fighter go head-to-head, but neither of them is allowed to throw a punch? We put Adam “Bomb” Livingston, professional MMA/UFC fighter, up against Griffin Patterson, an MIT student and robotics engineer, and gave each of them control of a humanoid robot. One knows fighting. One knows robots. After some training, trash talk, and more robot damage than we’d like to admit, we brought them together for a full robot fight to see which advantage would win out.
