Rock Santa Collectibles - Rockin' Around Santa(1999)

Daniel sent me this one, thanks again. Been wanting one of these for years, and it's just as cool in person as i thought it would be, the arm motion adds a lot to it, and don't even get me started with the gold details on that vest. Right away i had to change the adapter jack because it was broken in half. and that alone was probably the hardest thing i had(and will have to) do, looking for a new one wasn't easy, since it's a different type from the normal ones(and a stupid design may i add, weak spot being the center, just where the side contact makes the most pressure). i looked online, some people wanted over $43 for one, just one(fuck no, you're out of your minds). and then, one strange afternoon, i found that my nearest electronics store did in fact have some in stock for just $1,20 each. how crazy. Now, the repair isn't done yet: i plan on dismantling it and cleaning the clothes, base, feet, arms and head to remove the little dust and dirt it has, it has some yellowing on the shirt, if it doesn't go away with a normal wash, i might consider using bleach. oh, and i'll sure as hell replace the belt, it slips very slightly, but i don't want to open it in, say, 2 years again to replace it, so i'll do it this year. great santa though, my only two complaints are the adapter jack and the lack of a delay mode.
