DOUBLE TROUBLE DISASTER! Metal Detecting Scotland | XP DEUS 2 vs MINELAB MANTICORE

We’re back metal detecting Scotland’s incredible FIELD OF DREAMS — a field that has already produced a hoard of 2nd-century Roman silver coins, medieval hammered coins and an unbelievable amount of silver… but this time, DISASTER STRIKES! I’m joined once again by Simon, The Spanish Detectorist, as we take the XP DEUS 2 and Minelab Manticore back onto one of the most productive metal detecting permissions we’ve ever searched. This remarkable Scottish field has already given us an incredible glimpse into nearly 2,000 years of history. On previous metal detecting adventures we’ve uncovered Roman silver denarii dating back to the 2nd century, including a group of Roman silver coins that qualifies as a hoard, along with medieval hammered silver coins, ancient artefacts, old coins, relics and silver galore. Surely there can’t be much left… can there? With the XP DEUS 2 and Minelab Manticore fired up, the Dream Team heads back out to see what else could possibly be hiding beneath this Scottish farmland. Roman? Medieval? More silver? Or perhaps something completely unexpected? Things are going brilliantly — until the afternoon takes a VERY unexpected turn and disaster strikes when I manage to SNAP MY SPADE IN TWO! 😂 Can the day be rescued, and will the Field of Dreams produce yet another incredible piece of Scottish history? Join us for another metal detecting adventure packed with laughs, great signals, old coins, historical finds and the usual chaos as we search for lost history beneath the fields of Scotland. If you enjoy metal detecting in Scotland, Roman coins, hammered coins, ancient history, treasure hunting, XP DEUS 2 detecting, Minelab Manticore detecting and British metal detecting, make sure you LIKE, COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE to The Scottish Detectorist for more adventures uncovering Scotland’s lost history.
