🎶 𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗔 — 𝗞𝗥𝗬𝗠𝗨𝗦 𝗧𝗪𝗜𝗡 🎶 🌺 𝗛𝗨𝗟𝗔 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 | #HHP We’re pleased to share another version of **“Sisiba” by Krymus Twin**, presented here as part of the Hula History Project’s continuing celebration of Papua New Guinean music, memories and culture. 🎸 𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗔 We previously uploaded an **acoustic interpretation of Sisiba**, which gave the song a stripped-back and intimate feel. This version takes the song in another musical direction while keeping the beautiful melody and spirit of the original alive. That is one of the things we love about these old and memorable songs: *a great song can be rediscovered by another generation, interpreted in a new style, and still retain the feeling that made people love it in the first place.* 🇵🇬 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗖 The Hula History Project is not only about photographs and historical stories. *Music is also part of our history.* The songs we grew up listening to carry memories of our families, our communities, Port Moresby, Hula and Papua New Guinea.
