Provence in Lavender Season | Sénanque, Valensole & the Verdon Gorge

wo days chasing lavender season in Provence (July 2025): the Abbaye de Sénanque, the hilltop village of Gordes, sunflowers and lavender on the Valensole Plateau, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, the turquoise Gorges du Verdon, a horseback ride through the lavender with our guide Sarah (who owns all of her horses, and is the loveliest person) and her dog Chago, a quick lesson on truffles, and sunset in the fields.
