I'M NOT OKAY

I’M NOT OKAY is one of the most honest tracks I’ve written. It’s about waking up already exhausted from battles nobody can see. About bipolar disorder, autism, overthinking, losing confidence, fighting with your own mind, and living with COPD while trying to accept that your body can’t always do what it once could. It’s about saying “I’m fine” because explaining the truth takes too much energy. I’ve had moments where the darkness became more than just thoughts. I’m not glorifying that pain. I’m talking about it because I’m still here. Still breathing. Still creating. Still rebuilding. Still fighting. Sometimes winning isn’t fixing everything. Sometimes winning is getting dressed, answering a message, eating something, getting off the couch… or simply not disappearing. I’m not healed. I’m not fearless. I’m not asking anybody to save me.
