Monterey Bay Whale Watching May 2021. Blues, Fins, Humpbacks, and Risso's

On May 13th, 2021 I went whale watching with Monterey Bay Whale Watch on the vessel Blackfin. We spotted a pod of Risso's Dolphins outside the harbor along with numerous California sea lions, southern sea otters, and nesting cormorants. We later headed further out and encountered a cow-calf pair of humpback whales. After spending time with the humpbacks we moved towards the north end of the Monterey submarine canyon and encountered a black-footed albatross, three fin whales, and several blue whales.
