Indian Express Investigation के बाद ECI की प्रक्रिया पर Rahul Gandhi की Press Conference

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a sharp attack on Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and demanded that he turns approver. His remarks came after Indian Express Investigation suggested that Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi had raised around 14 objections over 10 months regarding decisions linked to SIR and other electoral processes. During his press conference, Rahul Gandhi alleged that vote manipulation was weakening Indian democracy. He claimed that Gyanesh Kumar was responsible for the damage caused to the voting system and argued that the objections raised by the two Election Commissioners supported questions he had been raising for months. Rahul Gandhi also questioned a law passed in December 2023, which he claimed had placed Election Commissioners beyond the reach of investigation. He referred to his earlier allegations regarding the Maharashtra elections and criticised the process through which Gyanesh Kumar was appointed. He further argued that if Members of Parliament were elected through manipulated votes, the legitimacy of the laws passed by them would also come under question.
