Chandler reported his parents missing on July 7, telling authorities they never returned after spending the 4th of July weekend with another couple. In the days that followed, parts of Bart and Krista Haldersons' dismembered bodies were located not far from their family home. Prosecutors claim Chandler killed his parents after his father discovered he was lying about attending college and having a job.
