wood turning/woodworking - Yew and epoxy resin coffee/side table

In this woodturning project I take some beautiful slices of english Yew and turn them into a unique table. Yew is one of my favourite woods and I was lucky to obtain this beautiful old round of Yew log. I cut this in two with my chainsaw and then turned the base, a pedestal and then the top. I also used my router sledge to assist with the flattening. I used some deep pour epoxy with blue mica powder and finished the top with coating resin and then it was polished and had a final coat of Carnauba wax. The pedestal and base were sealed with OSMO 3032 oil and then waxed with Hampshire sheen. Thanks for watching -best wishes, Jim This table is for sale in my ETSY shop.
