So we keep seeing and hearing all kinds of things from Blizzard about Forever the changes and how they want to keep it to a Vanilla feel of the game. Yet they keep doing changes that keeps bringing it closer and closer to retail with each update. All that mentioned where is one of WoW's original creators at that was suppose to be part of the world saga retail series and rumored to be working on Forever version as well? I ask this question because honestly Forever started out the gate great feeling like Vanilla WoW once again the grind the grit etc. As of the last patch though its getting equality on mass and more and more like retail WoW within it. Chris Metzen made it clear that Warcraft is war and in war there is no equality. There is always going to be something a class and race that is better than the rest of the same race or class combos within the game. There wasn't anything in the game when it was released back in 2005 that made racials and classes equal at all. Each one of those things and to include the combinations of were never equal. Just like there wasn't ever truly a equal class, race and talent build that was equal as well. Back to Chris Metzen and where is he question.. The Chris Metzen I met and talked to at 3 different Blizzcons the shortest time being about 5 minutes longest being about 20 minutes. He isn't the type of developer to just be sitting quietly in the background not being seen or heard from. I understand that he had to step away for health issues a few years back and don't blame him at all for that totally understandable for anyone to do so. That said when in 2024 Blizzcon he came out to talk about and tell us about the World Saga series that Blizzard got him to help with along with a couple of other things that they wouldn't talk about then to help bring Warcraft back he's not been seen or heard from since. So as of late hearing that oh this is how Chris would talk about this and that stories as if he's not with Blizzard anymore in some of the dev podcasts is making me wonder if Chris is working with Blizzard at all anymore. If Blizzard itself had hired him to come out for Blizzcon just to help hype up their latest failure in hopes of retaining players? If there was any true work done by Chris within the World Saga series being those of us that remembers and played the versions Chris was a main part of can feel it was different. Were we all sold a lie by Blizzard that Chris was back to help truly save WoW or was it just a hype moment for the community to restore some faith and hope of keeping us around? Currently retail is in complete failure and honestly the initial start of Forever's beta I'm sure had Blizzard thinking ok we're safe and good now. Hence the epic failure of the latest patches of both retail and Forever's beta. If you think I'm off go check the fourms and read what people are saying. Its obvious that both are in trouble atm retail is beyond failure its in free fall atm. Meanwhile Forever is seeing a sudden decrease that I'm sure Blizzard isn't going to mention anything about but all you have to do is watch any beta live and you can physically see the difference in game just how drastic the amount of players within the game has dropped since yesterday. It's like Blizzard can't help itself from wanting to go with woke'ish ways of making everything about a war equal which every person in their right mind knows wars aren't equal period. If Blizzard woke devs want to ruin Forever they are on point of doing so and it won't take it long at all to do so. Players are already calling Blizzard out on many things within minutes of the patch notes being released before the beta servers were even live to test out the changes that were made. I hope I'm wrong and we get the old WoW back and its kept and I do hope that Chris Metzen is doing great and if he's still working on WoW that we see and hear from him soon.
