The Grinch (Jim Carrey from The Mask, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and The Truman Show) is in the city center surrounded by all the villagers when he realizes what Christmas is all about for them: gifts. He scratches a red car and then makes a full speech about how superficial Christmas has become and about the number of bad gifts he receives from the trash. He then asks them to kiss his ass by putting the mistletoe over it and then shaves the top of the mayor’s head. Everyone goes crazy and there’s no more order in the city. The Grinch gets some alcohol in his mouth and spits it out over a flame, lighting the huge Christmas tree on fire. The police start following the Grinch, so he steals a tiny car and speeds around the city streets. His car starts spinning, making it hit a fire hydrant and explode.
