I took a three-week caretaker job at a remote lighthouse in the Gulf of Alaska. The station was supposed to be simple: maintain the light, keep the fog signal running, and report to headquarters twice a day. Then I found Walter Ashby’s hidden notebook. Eight rules were written inside it. Never let the light turn white over the southern water. Never answer voices coming from the sea. Never say your own name after sunset. Never go down to the landing at night. And if you ever reach one hundred and nineteen steps in the tower… Do not take the next step. I thought the rules were the result of an old keeper losing his mind. Then something called my name from the water. And the lighthouse went dark. This is the account of what happened at Morrow Rock Light. Turn off the lights, put on your headphones, and listen carefully. Because sometimes the safest thing you can do when something calls your name… is nothing. #Creepypasta #HorrorStories #ScaryStories #LighthouseHorror #RulesHorror #WildernessHorror #ScaryStory #CreepyStories #HorrorNarration #AlaskaHorror #TrueHorror #DisturbingStories #EchoHorrorFiles
