Here I deconstruct Daft Punk's "Around The World" using the awesome Moog ONE ❤️ I'd been waiting for this synth for a long time, and I'm super excited to finally use it! 🥁 The rhythm comes from my Roland TR-8: the kick, a closed hi-hat with a little bit of swing, a more aggressive open hi-hat, the claps, and that trick where I put the accents on the downbeat. Then I bounce it into Cubase. I've also got my trusty Prism Sound here, one of the best converters out there. 🎛️ On the Moog One I build the bass from two oscillators, with a touch of glide for the other part, then the next synth part, with a little bit of envelope "meow", a delay and an LFO opening up the filter cutoff. The wah-wah sound is just a short sawtooth, and I suspect the LFO goes out of sync, so sometimes it opens up and sometimes it closes down. That element of unpredictability is what I think they went for! And the vocals? The magic instrument: a Banshee talk box, basically an amplifier that pushes the sound through a tube, connected to the Moog. 🗣️ 🎬 In this video: 🥁 Programming the beat on the Roland TR-8, with swing and accents 🎸 A two-oscillator Moog One bass, with a touch of glide 🎛️ The next synth part: envelope, delay and an LFO on the filter cutoff 🌀 The wah-wah sound and its out-of-sync LFO 🗣️ The famous "Around the world" vocal through a talk box 📺 Watch the whole series — All My Moog Videos 👉    • All My Moog Videos   💬 Which part do you think I nailed best: the bass, the wah-wah or the talk box? 🎓 Courses & training 👉 https://doctormix.com/courses 🎧 Mixing & mastering services 👉 https://doctormix.com/services 🎹 Sound packs & multitracks 👉 https://doctormix.com/sound-packs 🛍️ Merch 👉 https://doctor-mix-shop.fourthwall.co... 🌐 Stay connected YouTube 👉    / @doctormix   Instagram 👉 instagram.com/doctormix Facebook 👉 facebook.com/DoctorMixOnline TikTok 👉 tiktok.com/@doctormix 👍 Like, share & subscribe — it really helps the channel! ❤️🎶 #DoctorMix #DaftPunk #MoogOne
