The Greek Word That Changes How You See Baptism

What does the Bible actually say baptism is? In this study, we begin in the Bible, stay in the Bible, and end in the Bible. We trace water through Scripture, from Noah's flood and the Red Sea to the Jordan River, and see how baptism pictures the believer's identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-4). We close with what Acts 2:38 means by "the remission of sins": sins sent away and forgiven, as though they had never been committed. "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."
