River Huxley - The Forgotten King (Spiritu Magno Sessions) [2016]

The Forgotten King is taken from the Spiritu Magno Sessions (2015–2017), an ongoing archival series documenting recordings created before the River Huxley project. Inspired by the Greek tragedy of Oedipus Rex, this guitar-forward recording comes from a defining creative chapter in my artistic journey, exploring progressive rock, art rock, psychedelia, and experimental electronic music. More recordings from the archive will continue to surface over time. I'm your mother, your wife, your sister, your teeth There's no begging after this Pins, strike, strike Forgive me Oh no, no, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no, no Oh, land of Delphi What have you done to me? Please make me understand what you just said to me Now, Oracle, don't make me plead Walk to Thebes, my feet afraid This can't be true Shed my future away Oh man, don't you stand in front of me Fury, resentment, anger, and guilt - now bleed! Oh no, no, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no, no Oh no, no, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no No, no, no, no, no, no, no
