ULTRAKILL Reprise 1-R Brutal P Rank (Custom level)

2 years ago I absolute hated this level not only because of it's difficulty but due to how genuinely malicious every encounter was. every arena you can tell the creator wanted you to engage with the monsters in their terms which is something that is rarely pressed upon in ultrakill. it's not often that you are forced to engage with an enemy in situations they excel at. (most obvious example is the first encounter) to put it into perspective this level was designed around Violent + Pre Full Arsenal which surprisingly makes it easier now than it was though brutal Does somewhat increase the difficulty. I hated this level but one moment during the final arena something clicked and i started having fun despite dying over and over again. Best way i can explain it is Gabriel's 6-2 moment. I wish i could relive this enigmatic sensation where you start hating something difficulty only to fall in love with it during the struggle (the song also helps too) i originally wanted to beat it in violent because it was the intended way but given the full arsenal update + General buffs to the player i decided to just give it a shot on brutal. One of my biggest annoyances is people calling this level Idol spam which is blatantly wrong (spam implies it's mindless but in here? it's as purposeful and intentional as it gets) This is a level designed around Pro players And despite my large hour count i'm not exactly a professional by any means (i don't speedrun and i certainly don't have the best cybergrind score) but despite that. Revisiting this level after 2 more years of play and experience under my belt genuinely felt amazing. Rating : 9.5/10 Songs Used : MASKED - Aggression (Normal + Fratricide mix) Hakita - ...
