Akai MPC Live 2 but it's a 12-Bit Sampler

The best way to turn an Akai MPC Live 2 (Retro Edition) into a 12-bit sampler is to use an actual 12-bit sampler (I know). In my scenario, I'm using my Akai S950 to process the drum break & sample. The S950's converters/bandwidth allow me to really finesse the sound to make it sound gritty. I sampled into the Akai S950 at 3000hz, transposed, and added some of that magic filter. I will say that I might have overcooked the sample a bit by running it too hot into the Akai S950 but the Akai MPC Live 2 came to save the day. With he right parameter tweaks and the right processing, I was able to really bring those 12-bit samples to life. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this video, thank you so much for watching!
