Fast collapsing door ORIEN lift/elevator at Siri Homes apartment building

One day I visited my dad's friend house for a stay and the house had an elevator!!! The elevator after the doors are closed manually (since it is a collapsing door elevator),it went very fast!! While reaching the ground floor the elevator did not stall, instead it gave a jerk and it had stopped. It started moving fast after the second door is closed!!! I think it was built wrong because the elevator carriage and the landing are not in line with each other. This experience will make me a fan of elevators!
