Free Play Friday - Double Dragon II: The Revenge (Arcade)

Starting something new - Free Play Friday. Where I find an arcade game I'm interested in and play thru it. Today we have, Double Dragon II: The Revenge. This 1988 classic was intended to be an update to the original Double Dragon. However due to memory limitations, they decided to make it a separate game. Set some after the events of the first Double Dragon game, Billy and Jimmy are out for revenge as the Black Warriors took out Billy's Girlfriend Marian. Some of the movement in this may look very familiar with a certain wrestling game we have played on the channel..... This game had various amounts of success and ports. Namely, the NES version of this game, is a cult classic, with the world famous, Rising Knee Lift that blasts enemies across the screen. We have a playthrough of that version of game, via the Kunio-kun Collection - might have to post that as well.
